Full job description

Come to Vermont, where your pastry arts skills will be truly appreciated.

Ready to join a company with a legacy of handcrafted Vermont confections? Mother Myrick’s in Manchester, Vermont, is one of a handful of New England’s true confectioneries–crafting chocolates, pastries, and cakes for nearly five decades. Now in our 49th year, we remain a highly regarded, independent shop serving both a loyal and discriminating local following at our retail shop and a growing nationwide mail order business.

We’re seeking a pastry professional with at least two years of experience, a passion for chocolate, and the artistic skill to create visually stunning, delicious pastries and cakes. Wherever you learned to fold laminated dough or temper chocolate, you’ll feel right at home here.

This salaried, full-time executive-level role offers meaningful, hands-on work with a close-knit team where quality, creativity, and care guide each day. It includes one weekend day, but no evening or overnight hours. We’re looking for someone with an ingrained curiosity for the craft and is excited to help shape the future of our confectionery while staying true to the traditions that built it.
