Overview

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including profit & loss assessments, cash flow evaluations, and cost accounting reviews to identify opportunities for efficiency and growth.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models using Microsoft Excel, VBA, Power BI, Tableau, and other business intelligence tools to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
• Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets from ERP systems, Hyperion, Bloomberg, and other financial software to generate actionable insights.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations that clearly communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Perform quantitative research and analysis on investment opportunities, governmental accounting standards, and corporate finance strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business analysis projects to evaluate operational performance and recommend improvements.
• Support the implementation of new financial systems or upgrades by providing data visualization expertise and ensuring data integrity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in financial analysis within a corporate finance or investment banking environment.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, formulas, and macros (VBA).
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Hyperion, ERP systems, Bloomberg terminals, and other financial software platforms.
• Deep understanding of financial concepts such as profit & loss statements, budgeting processes, forecasting techniques, and cost accounting principles.
• Excellent quantitative research skills combined with strategic thinking capabilities.
• Ability to interpret complex data sets through visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau for effective business insights.
• Knowledge of governmental accounting standards is a plus; a strong foundation in math and analytical reasoning is essential.
• Effective communicator with experience in financial report writing and presenting complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
