About the Role

LEGOLAND® New York Resort is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Houseperson to support our Housekeeping team. This role plays a key part in maintaining clean, organized, and welcoming public and guest areas throughout the resort. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys working in a team environment, and is committed to delivering an outstanding guest experience.

What You’ll be Doing

  • Maintain cleanliness of all public areas, including hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
  • Assist housekeeping staff with guest room preparation, including delivering linens, amenities, and supplies.
  • Clean guest rooms and bathrooms when assigned, including vacuuming floors and making beds.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and service calls.
  • Receive, store, and organize housekeeping deliveries and supplies.
  • Monitor, restock, and report inventory levels of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
  • Keep linen rooms and linen/terry closets clean, stocked, and orderly.
  • Properly handle, label, and maintain all assigned chemicals and equipment in safe working conditions.
  • Follow all LEGOLAND® New York Resort policies, OSHA standards, safety and sanitation guidelines, and service standards.
  • Maintain proper uniform appearance, hygiene, and professional conduct.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Sign in and out radios for interdepartmental communication and master keys for guest room access.

Who You Are

  • Previous housekeeping or facilities experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a guest-focused attitude.
  • Ability to lift, push, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Physically able to perform repetitive and active tasks throughout the shift.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
