Position Overview
The Catering Supervisor with a camp catering background is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food service operations within a camp environment. This role ensures the efficient preparation, delivery, and service of meals while maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and customer satisfaction. The Catering Supervisor manages a team of kitchen and service staff, coordinates with camp management, and ensures compliance with dietary requirements and company policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Catering Supervisor or similar role, preferably in a camp or remote site environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Experience in menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by camp operations.
