Position: Farm Helper / Ranch Hand
Location: Branford, FL – Heartwood Ranch & Farm
Employment Type: Part-time
Start Date: Immediate

About Us:
Heartwood Ranch & Farm is a 290-acre regenerative family farm dedicated to high-quality animal care, pasture management, and sustainable agriculture. Our operation includes cattle, horses, poultry, alpacas, donkeys, exotic birds, and rotational grazing systems.

Role Summary:
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Farm Helper to support day-to-day operations across the ranch. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, has experience with animals or machinery, and is ready to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Feed and care for cattle, horses, poultry, alpacas, and other animals
• Clean stalls, barns, coops, and paddocks
• Assist with rotational grazing, moving animals between paddocks
• Operate farm equipment (tractors, UTVs, mowers)
• Maintain fences, gates, watering systems, and irrigation
• Help with hay, feed, compost, and pasture upkeep
• Support during veterinary visits, calving, foaling, or emergencies
• General property maintenance and repairs
• Assist with special projects (land clearing, brooder setups, shelters, etc.)

Requirements:

• Prior farm/ranch experience preferred but not required
• Must be dependable, honest, and able to follow instructions
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
• Able to lift 50–70 lbs
• Basic experience using tools (saws, drills, fencing tools)
• Valid driver’s license preferred

Schedule:

• Weekdays and Weekends
• AM/PM feeding responsibilities may rotate
