Temporary help needed! 2-4 weeks while our office manager is on leave.

We are looking for an out-going, positive, customer service oriented front desk receptionist with insurance experience to keep 2 doctors running on time! This is position typically works 34 hours per week. The primary hours are Mon & Wed: 9 am – 6 pm and Tues and Thurs: 3 pm – 7 pm and Friday 9 am – 4 pm. The primary role of this position is ensure smooth operation of the office. Duties include answering the phone, scheduling appointments, patient check in/out, filing, payment collection, verification of insurance, batch and daily cash reconciliation, and managing coworkers. You will assist patients with questions regarding services, payments and insurance benefits. Other duties include communication with health care providers, attorneys and insurance carriers.

The right candidate will have the ability to work at a fast pace, under pressure, multitask, work well with others, be able to adapt to a changing work environment, and accepting of constructive criticism. Strong customer service and management skills are a must! Candidates should possess a friendly, outgoing personality with a strong desire to work with the public, and the ability to relate to people regardless of ethnic, religious or economic background. We promote a positive, team-oriented environment with the possibility to advance. Excellent customer service skills, medical office and insurance experience is required. Hourly pay depends upon experience and is negotiable.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
