Full job description

• We are hiring immediately for part time HOUSEKEEPER UTILITY positions.
• Address: Ascension Mercy Hospital – 500 South Oakwood Road, Oshkosh, WI 54904. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Part time schedule. 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and 7:00 am to 3:30 pm; days may vary. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
• Perks: Willing to train!
• Pay Range: $17.00 per hour to $17.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Maintains facility areas and keeps equipment clean and orderly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains and services cleaning equipment.
• Stocks cleaning carts with supplies.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization in storeroom and closets.
• Collects, transports, and disposes of trash, bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols.
• Fixes and maintains cleaning equipment.
• Identifies potential safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to push containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Mechanical abilities to fix and maintain cleaning equipment.
• Great communication skills.
