Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on shop machinery, vehicles, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Use diagnostic tools such as Ohmmeters to identify electrical issues accurately and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems, determine root causes, and execute repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all repair activities to uphold a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Assist in ordering parts and supplies needed for repairs, ensuring availability for ongoing maintenance tasks.
• Conduct quality checks after repairs to verify that equipment functions correctly and meets safety standards.

Experience

• Proven experience as a mechanic or technician working with industrial or shop equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical testing devices such as Ohmmeters is highly desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to mechanical repair work in a shop environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Prior experience working with diagnostic tools and performing electrical tests is an advantage.
