Role Summary
As a Kitchen Steward, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. Your work supports the entire culinary team and helps ensure a smooth operation behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces
- Wash dishes, cookware, and food preparation tools efficiently
- Handle waste and recycling according to hygiene standards
- Assist with basic food prep when required
- Ensure proper storage of kitchen equipment and supplies
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
Requirements
- Previous kitchen or stewarding experience is a plus but not required
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and safety
- Ability to work well in a team
- Physically fit to stand, bend, and lift throughout shifts
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
