About Us

We are a well-established landscaping and hardscaping company serving the Norfolk area for over 40 years. Our team takes pride in delivering high-quality outdoor spaces and professional service. We are currently seeking a Landscape Crew Member to join our field team and support ongoing lawn maintenance and landscaping projects.

This is a hands-on, physically active role for someone who enjoys outdoor work, values craftsmanship, and takes pride in attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine lawn mowing using walk-behind, push, and zero-turn mowers
• Edge along sidewalks, driveways, flower beds, and hardscape borders for clean, professional results
• Use blowers and hand tools to clear grass clippings, leaves, and debris from job sites
• Assist with seasonal services such as bed cleanups, mulch installation, pruning, and leaf removal
• Support landscape and hardscape installations, including patios, walkways, and garden features
• Load, move, and place materials such as mulch, soil, stone, and pavers (up to ~60 lbs)
• Inspect tools and equipment daily and report maintenance needs
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Follow company safety standards and job procedures
• Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to work at assigned job sites

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work Monday–Friday
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods)
• Basic comfort using smartphone apps for schedules, time tracking, and job updates (we use Jobber)
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Team-oriented mindset and good customer service skills

Preferred:

• Previous landscaping, lawn care, or construction experience
• Familiarity with landscaping equipment and tools
• Experience using Jobber or similar field service software
