Overview
We are urgently hiring a dedicated and compassionate Homemaker to provide essential support and care for individuals in need. This part-time position offers 16-20 hours per week, focusing on enhancing the quality of life for clients through various homemaking and caregiving tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with disabilities, dementia care, or in home health settings.

Duties
As a Homemaker, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Providing light housekeeping services such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Offering companionship and emotional support to enhance the client’s well-being.
• Observing and reporting any changes in the client’s condition or behavior to family members or healthcare professionals.
• Supporting clients with dementia care and hospice care needs as required.
• Ensuring a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.

Experience
The ideal candidate should possess:

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in long-term care settings.
• Knowledge of CPR and basic first aid techniques is preferred.
• Previous experience in home health or caregiving roles is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide patient observation effectively.
• A compassionate nature with a commitment to improving the lives of others through care and support.
