Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping journey
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash, credit, and digital transactions
• Manage cash handling procedures with precision, including balancing registers at shift end
• Stock shelves, merchandise displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and inviting
• Support inventory management through stocking and merchandising efforts
• Engage in basic retail math to process transactions and manage sales data effectively
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills to resolve customer questions or concerns confidently

Requirements

• Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
• Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is beneficial
• Knowledge of merchandising, stocking is desirable
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• English required, Spanish is a plus
