Overview
Join our dynamic retail team as a Grocery Stock Clerk / Cashier, where you’ll be the vital link between our store’s inventory and our valued customers. In this energetic role, you’ll manage stock levels, ensure shelves are fully stocked with fresh produce and everyday essentials, and deliver exceptional customer service at the checkout. Duties

• Stock shelves with grocery items, produce, and merchandise, ensuring products are properly organized and accessible
• Operate RF scanners to accurately track inventory and process sales at the cashier station
• Assist in inventory management through regular stock checks, inventory control procedures, and replenishment tasks
• Load and unload shipments using pallet jacks or forklifts, ensuring safe handling of heavy or bulky items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, storage areas, and backroom to promote a safe shopping environment
• Provide friendly customer service by answering questions, assisting with product selection, and processing transactions efficiently
• Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying incoming deliveries and preparing outgoing orders for customers or vendors

Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail sales, warehouse operations, or grocery stores is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, merchandising, and inventory control
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (certification preferred)
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
• Familiarity with retail math for pricing, discounts, and inventory counts is advantageous
• Experience with maintenance tasks like cleaning displays or backroom areas to uphold store standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
