IMMEDIATE HIRE: Part-Time Sales Associate (Downtown Houston: Monday – Friday 10am – 2pm)

Job Description:

Serving customers at the counter with a cheerful attitude and a friendly smile. Make sure each customer is thrilled with their experience at Cupcake and a Smile and ensure viability of the business by building customer loyalty.

Service Area:

• Maintain good attendance and punctuality
• Greet customers and provide excellent, prompt, and courteous customer service
• Contribute positively to the atmosphere at Cupcake and a Smile
• Operate POS system
• Take customer orders at the counter
• Assist customers with placing orders over the phone by entering pre-order information into our online order form
• Check products and orders for quality
• Ensure proper rotation of products
• Greet customers in the hallway as an attempt to get them to purchase dessert
• Keep store clean and well organized
• Assist in receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise
• Ability to carry/lift up to 15lbs
• Complete to-do checklists prior to opening and closing the store
• Create marketing content and post to social media platforms
• Make deliveries within walking distance of the shop as needed
• Ability to build and maintain relationships and work as part of a team
• Retain and demonstrate proper policies and procedures delivered by trainers and managers with enthusiasm
• Ability to communicate verbally and understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Perform other duties and assignments as directed by management
