We are hiring Green Cleaners. We are an eco-safe home cleaning company. We have an amazing staff and have been 100% locally owned and operated since 2008. Our owner is on the Board of Directors for the Domestic Workers Ordinance for the Seattle Department of Labor – we work for worker rights, fair pay, legal rest breaks, safe working conditions.

POSITION IS PART TIME TO START. We hire for your choice of hours starting at 18 hours a week. If you have availability of 35 hours or more a week, we also provide you with a $120 health insurance reimbursement to be applied to a health insurance company payment of your choice.

Most of the homes we clean are residential. Sometimes we work alone, sometimes in a team. We provide you with all eco-safe, non-toxic cleaning supplies, and provide you with paid training. We pay our staff hourly, for the time you actually work. We do not bill clients based on the job but rather on an hourly wage, which means we do not expect you to ever “work for free” like some other cleaning companies do. We believe in treating each employee as an individual that deserves respect. All of us that work in management and in the office have also been housecleaners so we recognize what it is like to be “in the field” and we are supportive and caring with our housecleaners. No one gets thrown under the bus when working with us. We support our housecleaners.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness.

Dust and wipe surfaces, including furniture and fixtures, to ensure a tidy environment.

Dispose of waste and recyclables properly to promote hygiene and sustainability.

Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.

Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
