Production Worker Position

Description

Position Summary: The food production worker position is responsible for preparing and/or building food items while adhering to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures.

Essential Functions:

· Prepares and builds vending food items according to standardized recipes and directions (“build sheets”)

· Properly stores and labels food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures

· Sets up and organizes prep station when building vending items

· Break downs, cleans, and sanitizes work stations

· Adheres to Jane Foods Inc. safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation

· Other duties and tasks assigned by manager

· Maintain professional conduct at all times

Skills & Specifications:

· Previous food service experience preferred

· Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds

· Able to squat, bend ,stoop, push, kneel, and reach

· Ability to sit, stand, & walk for prolonged periods

· Able to read, write, count, add & subtract, and effectively communicate

· Must be team player and team oriented

· Typical schedule is Monday-Friday, with day time hours of 6am-?

· Must pass pre-employment background, initial hiring drug screen, as well random drug screening during employment
