Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise, schedule, and lead a team of lifeguards across one or more aquatic facilities.
- Ensure lifeguards are trained, certified, and prepared to respond to emergencies.
- Monitor facility safety, cleanliness, and compliance with local and national safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, drills, and staff evaluations.
- Oversee daily pool operations including water quality checks, maintenance coordination, and opening/closing procedures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact during emergencies or incidents, preparing detailed reports as required.
- Coordinate with the security and facilities management teams to ensure optimal facility performance.
- Provide customer service and resolve patron complaints or concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training processes for new lifeguards.
- Maintain inventory of lifeguard and first aid equipment and order supplies as needed.
- Drive between facilities or events as required (must hold a valid driving license).
Minimum Qualifications :
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a lifeguard, including at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
Certifications :
- Mandatory Lifeguard Certifications (e.g., Red Cross, Ellis & Associates, or equivalent).
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
Other Requirements :
- Valid driver’s license.
- Background in security or facilities management preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
