Job Summary

Chrisco Plumbing is seeking a Licensed Tradesman or Journeyman Plumber to join our growing team in San Antonio. We are a local, family-owned company looking for a dependable, skilled professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and customer service.

This position is available for immediate start.
Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential plumbing issues
• Perform drain cleaning, leak detection, fixture installation, and general plumbing repairs
• Communicate clearly with customers about repairs and solutions
• Maintain a clean and professional work environment
• Complete jobs efficiently and accurately
• Active Texas Tradesman or Journeyman Plumbing License
• Valid Driver’s License (Required)
• Clean driving record
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Professional appearance and customer service mindset
• Ability to work independently

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites.
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble and modify piping as needed.
• Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for pipe installation and system maintenance.
• Conduct system inspections to identify issues and troubleshoot mechanical problems related to plumbing
• Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC specialists, and field service personnel to coordinate project activities.
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards for quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with a valid license
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques, and schematics interpretation.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements and system layouts.
• Experience working on construction sites with familiarity in remodeling, maintenance, or handyman tasks is preferred.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials regularly and perform physically demanding tasks safely.
