• Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly and addressing their needs promptly
• Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision and confidence
• Assist customers with product information, including conducting product demos when appropriate
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to enhance store presentation
• Upsell relevant products and promote ongoing sales or promotions to maximize sales opportunities
• Ensure the checkout area remains clean, stocked, and welcoming at all times

Qualifications

• Prior experience with POS systems and cashiering is highly preferred
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership in a retail setting is a plus
• Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
• Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette for customer interactions
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Experience with grocery store operations or retail sales environments is beneficial
• Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and product demos enhances your effectiveness in this role
• Friendly demeanor with strong customer service orientation and active listening skills
