Store keeper

Role Overview:
The Storekeeper will be responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing food and non-food items while maintaining accurate records in the Supy inventory system and Excel. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in the food industry, with a good understanding of food hygiene and safe storage practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory using the Supy system and maintain supporting records in Excel.
  • Receive deliveries, check quantities and quality, and report discrepancies.
  • Store food and non-food items according to company procedures and food hygiene standards.
  • Issue stock to kitchen and service teams as requested, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and assist with audits.
  • Ensure storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene and safety requirements.
  • Work closely with the procurement and kitchen teams to support smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a storekeeper in the food and catering industry.
  • Hands-on experience using Supy inventory system (or similar systems).
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, stock reporting).
  • Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
