Richmond Express Courier Service and Warehousing is seeking a professional and customer-focused Non-CDL 26-Ft Box Truck Driver to join our team! Candidates would be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, handling customer products, and performing on-demand and routed deliveries with excellent customer service.

Monday – Friday schedule.

This position is ideal for individuals who prefer the open road and a stress-free environment.

Qualifications

• Driver’s License with a minimum of +2 Safe driving points (required)
• Possession of a REAL ID
• Possession or willingness to obtain a medical DOT card.
• Delivery driver experience is a plus.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Delivering products, loading, and unloading trucks daily
• Performing local and longdistance routed and ondemand deliveries
• Use a lift gate and pallet jack to load and unload freight
• Deliver pallets/packages to customers
• Building rapport with customers in a dynamic environment
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct pretrip inspections
• Maintaining vehicle safety while on the road

WHAT IS REQUIRED:

• A positive attitude
• Knowledge of local roads and safe driving practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Ability to drive a 26ft box truck with air brakes and a lift gate.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds repetitively.
• Possess a valid medical DOT card.
• Be able to pass a background check and preemployment drug screening.
