Full job description

The Server/Bartender is responsible for providing an exceptional member experience by delivering friendly, efficient service to all members and guests at the club. This position requires a combination of food service and bartending skills, ensuring that all food and beverage orders are taken and served promptly while maintaining a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome members and guests in a professional, friendly manner.
  • Take food and beverage orders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and serving of alcoholic beverages according to club policies and legal regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all members’ and guests’ needs are met in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar and dining area.
  • Process payments accurately using the POS system.
  • Respond to any customer complaints or concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Stock and replenish bar supplies and ensure inventory levels are adequate.
  • Uphold all safety and sanitation regulations, including the cleanliness of glassware, utensils, and countertops.
  • Follow all club policies, including dress code, grooming, and conduct standards.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a server, bartender, or in a customer service role (preferred, but not required).
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage menu items, including cocktails, wines, and spirits.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to handle cash transactions and operate a POS system.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be 18 years or older (21+ for bartending).
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have the stamina to handle high-volume service periods.
