POSITION OVERVIEW

Receive and issue warehouse material, input necessary data into the computer, deliver material throughout site, prepare Over Short & Damage and shipping notices, prepare material for shipping, conduct weekly and monthly inventories, count all warehouse stock for inventory control, and maintain the warehouse and yard.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Receive and issue warehouse material.
• Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers.
• Input necessary data into the computer.
• Prepare repairable material, and OS&D and shipping notices.
• Prepare material for outbound shipments.
• Conduct weekly and monthly inventories.
• Count all warehouse stock for inventory control.
• Maintain the warehouse and yard in an orderly manner to ensure items are stored safely and efficiently.
• Must be able to work in varying conditions outdoors and lift 50 lbs.
• Other duties as may be assigned.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Experience using MIMS/Ellipse.
• Must be proficient with MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
• Ability to operate equipment: forklift, 2 ton trucks, overhead cranes.
• Applicant must have good communications skills (oral and written).
• Must be able to manage time effectively and set priorities.
• Requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to speak effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Availability to work any shift, including weekends and holidays (shifts may be rotating, operations are 24/7/365).
• Ability to work in adverse climate/temperature environment.
