Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is our first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless dining experience. This role also requires knowing our menu and being able to assist with take-out and delivery orders. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and ensure they feel welcomed.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience.
• Assist with guest inquiries, ensuring all needs are met promptly and professionally.
• Accurately pack to-go orders for customers.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or answering questions as needed.
• Uphold high standards of guest relations, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied.

Skills

• Previous Host/Host experience in a restaurant setting is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and staff.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries professionally.
• Top-notch work ethics – ability to show up to shifts and be reliable at all times
• Positive, friendly personality and a can-do attitude
