Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our organization. Responsibilities
- Greet visitors warmly and professionally, directing them appropriately and ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage multi-line phone systems with courteous phone etiquette, screening and directing calls efficiently
- Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Handle data entry, filing, and document proofreading to maintain accurate records and support administrative tasks
- Support office management activities including supply inventory, mail processing, and maintaining cleanliness of the reception area
- Assist with customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and providing information about services or appointments
- You will also need to help with kennel every now and then, as in cleaning the rooms, taking animals back, bringing them up front, cleaning kennels
Skills
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Previous office or administrative experience, including clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and proofreading
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette
- Experience with front desk operations in a plus
- Knowledge of office management practices including calendar management, time management, and basic bookkeeping techniques
