Job Description

Is responsible for Solar product commercial development and the turnover realized in the Middle East (excluding KSA) area.

The objective is to develop the commercial activity, implement a strong and sustainable sales strategy and turn leads and prospects into customers and turnover for Solar segment.

Market research and business development:

  • Validate market potential.
  • Identify key players and projects
  • Feedback on specification trends and market price.
  • Acquire and maintain complete knowledge of the company’s range of solutions, features and benefits of those products and services that the Group can offer. Proactive actions required.
  • Analyses market needs, competition and opportunities.
  • Promote qualitative and technical solutions and products.

Sales:

  • Ensures a profitable sales growth and the Schréder brand recognition in the area.
  • Participate in the development of the solar business strategy
  • Establish the Sales budget and ensure its follow-up.
  • Support and implement the company’s long term vision in line with the local and Group strategy.
  • Serves existing accounts and builds and maintains effective long-term relationships with a defined customer base to ensure a high level of satisfaction and increase revenues (within municipalities, the local ministries, private sector, local lighting associations).
  • Actively prospect for new business.
  • Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.
  • Plans, facilitates and/or conducts complex negotiations, typically over a long sales cycle (i.e., one year or more), to reach long-term agreements and commitments.
  • Identifies and prioritizes new client opportunities and develops solution implementation and growth strategies.
  • Manages the preparation of bids and tenders with particular emphasis on establishing the organization’s trading terms / with national, regional or local governments. Draw up the sales budget and define the appropriate action plan.
  • Provide reliable financial and S&OP forecasting information.
  • Follow-up of results and check /implement them with well-defined targets to the General Manager /CRO.
  • Consolidate and develop the customer base
