We are adding to our team!

We’re looking for someone who is personable, kind, and organized. Are you good at taking direction, working with a team, multitasking, and working well under pressure? If so, then we invite you to apply!

We’d need you to work about 36–40 hours a week, including Fridays (but no weekends or holidays!).

Responsibilities include working with the Administrative Team on:

  • Answering and returning phone calls, and routing calls to the appropriate places.
  • Message taking and giving messages to the appropriate people.
  • Following through on all tasks, messages, and inquiries (meticulous note-taking).
  • Managing inventory.
  • Checking patients in using our medical record system.
  • Copying insurances and loading information into our system correctly.
  • Being precise in your work, especially in scheduling and information collection.
  • Checking out patients and making sure their copays and other monies for products and services are collected correctly.
  • Scanning, faxing, and other office tasks.
  • Keeping admin team abreast of all pertinent issues.

Qualifications:

  • Unwavering professionalism.
  • Friendly, outgoing personality; kind and empathetic.
  • Willing to go out of your way for patients.
  • Not afraid to ask questions and follow direction.
  • Must be able to accept feedback (we want you to grow!).
  • The ability to maintain calm and focus, and pivot easily between tasks.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Must be excessively organized, attentive to details.
  • Must know how to type and how to use technology.
  • Must be able to make sound in-the-moment decisions.

What will make you stand out:

  • Medical office experience — dermatology a plus.
  • Knowledge of ModMed a plus.
  • A well-crafted resume (not the auto-generated variety!).
  • History of good, committed work (at least two great references, in other words).
  • Demonstration of growth mindset.
  • A desire to work hard and show up for others.
  • Short, autobiographical statement about your interest in patient care.
