Evergreen Beauty College is growing and looking to add a new team member to our Guest Services Department. This department requires a flexible schedule which may include days, and evenings.

This position will be at our Olympia location. Full-time schedule, Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm

What Does Being Our Guest Services Representative Require?

We are looking for someone who can make connections with students, guests, industry professionals, and staff. Relationships are formed quickly, informally, comfortably, while gaining enthusiasm and cooperation from others. In this job, it is very important to connect and build rapport with new people daily. Communication is almost always of a “selling” rather than “telling” nature. A lively enthusiasm is necessary. Interactions will generally be upbeat and cheerful, requiring someone who is warm, helpful, and friendly, making people feel welcome. This job allows flexibility in how the results are produced. There will be a fair degree of difference from one day to the next, especially regarding personal interactions. Ability to keep our product and reception areas neat and organized. A quick and busy pace requires someone who remains calm under pressure who has a daily attitude of making someone’s day special.

• Conveys professional image in dress, appearance and mannerisms as you will be representing the beauty industry
• Works well in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects going simultaneously
• Great deal of attention devoted to building and maintaining relationships
• Warm, empathetic, energetic, helpful, and friendly
• Computer literate, guest reception, appointment booking, excellent customer service and cash handling
• Ability to recommend products and rebook clients for future appointments
• Highly collaborative position working with students, clients and staff
• Able to lead by example
