Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently using OpenTable or similar reservation systems
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
  • Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
  • Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with sanitation regulations
  • Provide exceptional guest service by addressing questions about menu items, dietary restrictions, and restaurant offerings
  • Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and processing payments

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable enhances efficiency in order processing and reservations
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience in serving, bussing, or hosting/hostess roles demonstrates adaptability and guest-focused attitude
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing are essential
  • Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation and menu details
