Opportunity: Michigan Financial Companies is currently looking for a part-time administrative assistant to work directly with a financial advisor. This position will be working out of the Southfield, MI area.
Objective: The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Financial Planners in their day-to-day operations. Working knowledge of a PC computer is a must.
Reports to: Financial Advisor
Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Answer and make phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Assist with marketing communications
- Maintain compliant files
- Update electronic filing system
- Submit account paperwork
- Follow-up on submitted paperwork
- Update Client Relationship Management system
Required Qualifications:
- Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize
- Must be technology savvy
- Dedicated to customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to learn other software programs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience dealing with clients
- Experience with a Client Relationship Management tool
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Experience in the financial services industry
