Responsibilities

• Greet visitors warmly and direct them appropriately, ensuring a professional and friendly atmosphere at all times
• Manage phones, answer inquiries promptly and efficiently using proper phone etiquette
• Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is organized, tidy, and welcoming for guests and staff
• Handle data entry tasks such as filing, and updating records using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
• Provide customer support by addressing inquiries professionally

Experience

• Prior experience as a receptionist in a dog or veterinary office is a plus
• Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client needs effectively
• Demonstrated knowledge phone etiquette essential for managing communications smoothly
• Experience with clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, proofreading, and calendar management required
• Familiarity with office management tools like QuickBooks or bookkeeping software advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional appearance; previous experience in dog grooming/vet veterinarian receptionist roles is beneficial
