Join Our Team as a Dental Assistant in Training!
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Dental Assistant in Training. This entry-level position is designed for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the dental field.
Position Overview:
As a Dental Assistant in Training, you will work closely under the guidance and supervision of licensed dental professionals. Your responsibilities will include assisting in patient care, instrument sterilization, administrative tasks, and other crucial office duties. This position provides comprehensive on-the-job training and continuous professional development. We encourage and support you in obtaining the necessary certifications to become a fully qualified Dental Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dental professionals during procedures by preparing patients, equipment, and instruments.
- Learn and perform essential dental assistant tasks, including sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and maintaining inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked dental treatment area, following strict infection control and OSHA guidelines.
- Welcome patients warmly, prepare them for procedures, and ensure comfort throughout their visit.
- Observe and assist dentists during patient examinations and treatments, progressively taking on more responsibility as skills and confidence grow.
- Document patient medical histories, record vital signs, and update patient charts accurately.
- Assist with dental charting, impressions, X-rays (after proper training and certification), and other clinical procedures.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and answer questions under the dentist’s supervision.
Qualifications:

- Primarily spent in a dental treatment area. Must be comfortable with standing or assisting patients for extended periods.
