Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly, energetic attitude, making them feel valued and comfortable
• Manage reservation bookings and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times and menu options
• Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their dining experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and waiting areas
• Collaborate closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service flow
• Handle guest concerns or complaints courteously, resolving issues promptly to uphold service standards

Experience

• Prior experience as a Host or Hostess in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
• Strong food service background with knowledge of restaurant operations and guest relations
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Previous hotel or guest services experience is a plus, demonstrating a commitment to hospitality excellence
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
• Experience in serving or hospitality roles that involve guest interaction and customer service excellence
