POSITION: Medical Receptionist

LOCATION TYPE: Elizabethtown, Kentucky

QUALIFICATIONS:

• high school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years experience in a healthcare office preferred
• CMA/CNA certification or medical billing experience is preferred but not required.
• excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
• ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment
• if in recovery, two years of sobriety is required by Kentucky regulations

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TRAINING:

• check patients in and out; greeting each patient pleasantly and professionally
• answer phone calls and schedule appointments
• monitor noshows and cancellations
• multitask while maintaining a close attention to detail
• strong computer skills are necessary to navigate a practice management system and separate electronic medical record system
• protect patient’s confidentiality
• empathize with our patient’s needs and concerns
