REPORTS TO: Director of Food & Beverage

Effective date: December 2024

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Responsible for preparing tables, greeting, and seating customers, making recommendations, taking orders, delivering food and drinks as well as accepting payments.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

1. Greeting customers and showing them to their table.

2. Preparing tables, ensuring they are clean and fully set.

3. Maintaining knowledge of the complete menu, daily specials, and available items.

4. Presenting customers with the menu, informing them of daily specials, and taking orders.

5. Checking the quality of dishes before serving them.

6. Delivering food and beverages in a timely manner.

7. Attending tables and ensuring customer satisfaction.

8. Delivering checks and taking payments.

9. Handling customer complaints.

10. Strictly adhering to food, sanitary, and safety standards.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:

1. Experience as Wait Staff, Server or in a similar role preferred.

2. Experience operating a cash register and using ordering systems.

3. Strong interpersonal and listening skills.

4. Ability to maintain a positive attitude.

5. Excellent customer service skills.

6. Good physical condition.

7. Good team player.

8. Must be at least 18 years of age

WORKING CONDITIONS:

1. Ability to stand for long periods of time

2. Sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during working hours

3. Must be able to lift, push, pull and move food, equipment, supplies, etc., in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds

4. Frequent bending and stooping

5. Works indoors and outdoors

6. Long strenuous hours at times
