Automation & Development team is part of Project Technology & Services at Arup, the team works closely with engineering and design teams to provide solutions to technical challenges and improve service delivery though automation and integration.

  • This role provides an opportunity to be exposed to a wide range of activities and technologies in a thriving and highly technical environment. It allows for the application of expertise in both application management and stakeholder engagement, encompassing involvement from gathering business requirements through to successful delivery.
  • You will be engaging with multiple stakeholders from different part of the business to understand the business needs and requirements. Working with development team to provide solutions that will make a real difference in the products and services we deliver to our clients and customers.
  • This role requires a deep knowledge of good application management practices, agile processes, stakeholder engagement and reporting, as well as a solid ability to translate business requirements into effective deliverables.
  • You will be part of a growing and collaborative global development team with a range of skills and experiences, where you can grow and support other team members. With opportunity to engage with wider Project Technology & Services team.

Is this role right for you?

  • Strong understanding of agile framework with hands-on experience with DevOps or Jira (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Proven experience with conducting stakeholder engagement workshops and/or interviews as part of requirement gathering and translating them to deliverables. Employing collaboration tools such as Miro or Microsoft Whiteboard.
  • Has experience using systematic methods to gather and record requirements and acceptance criteria, as well as identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing technologies, including PowerApps and Copilot, to enhance application management and reporting processes.
  • Experience in working with diverse teams across several global locations, time zones or cultural background.
