Full job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our logistics company in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting activities and basic knowledge of UAE accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare invoices, credit notes, and debit notes
• Record daily transactions, expenses, and bank entries
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Assist in monthly and yearly financial closing
• Support VAT calculations, filings, and documentation as per UAE regulations
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance
• Coordinate with operations and admin teams for billing and expense tracking

Requirements

• 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferably in logistics or a related industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar)
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
