Duties

• Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges
• Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately and securely
• Upsell products and promote store promotions or product demos
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves and organizing displays
• Assist customers with product inquiries and provide excellent customer service
• Ensure proper phone etiquette when answering customer calls
• Support inventory management through stock replenishment and merchandising tasks
• Supervise or assist with product demos to enhance customer engagement
• Maintain cleanliness of checkout areas and ensure a welcoming environment

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or grocery store environments preferred
• Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Ability to upsell products effectively and promote store offerings
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customers
• Supervising experience is a plus for leadership roles within the team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
• Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and product demos is beneficial
