**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse duties, efficient handling, storage, and loading/unloading of material. Your role will involve operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining a safe working environment. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential as you will need to navigate complex tasks and resolve issues independently.

**Duties:**

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, rework, and move metal products safely.
• Inspect and maintain forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Organize and store metal products according to company standards.
• Perform inventory counts and ensure accuracy of stock records.
• Identify and report discrepancies in inventory and shipments.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
• Assist in the preparation of orders for logistics.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
• Cross train in other areas as needed.

**Requirements:**

– Prior experience in warehouse operations

– Mechanical knowledge for equipment operation

– Ability to lift and move heavy items safely

– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory control
