ELS is hiring for the position of Restaurant Expeditor in Marblehead, Ohio.

Expeditors communicate orders and information between front of house and back of house, making sure the orders are being cooked in a timely fashion, so that all orders for a table are ready at the same time and make sure that once the food is cooked, servers and food runners run food to the table while it’s warm and ready.

What you bring:

• A desire to help out where needed and work as part of a team
• Passion for providing extraordinary service. Making sure the plate is dressed and garnished correctly and free from smudges or spills for guest presentation.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen
• A passion for cooking with a keen eye for freshness, quality and cleanliness
• An appetite for learning (and great food)
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
• Required to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach and perform frequent to constant handling activities
• Maintain cooking line in a clean, sanitary and safe manner
• Additional duties and/or responsibilities as assigned
