Job Description:
We are looking for a Transportation Supervisor to efficiently Coordinate and Schedule the transportation of patients and staff for a medical center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing schedules, coordinating with departments, and ensuring smooth transportation operations while supporting administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage daily transport schedules for patient pickup and drop-off.
- Coordinate staff transportation to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Work closely with the team to align transport schedules with patient appointments.
- Monitor and allocate vehicles and drivers efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, staff, and patients regarding transport arrangements.
- Maintain transport logs, reports, and records for audit purposes.
- Handle drivers-Related matters including fines, violations and records
- Process vehicle registration renewals, insurance, and permits
- Visiting government Departments (Police, Traffic Departments, licensing authorities) to complete transport-related procedures
- Maintain Patient consent forms for transportation
- Assist the Accounts department with procurement-related transportation.
- Step in to handle pickups when there is a shortage of drivers or staff.
- Act as a messenger for the company, handling official documents and communications.
- Provide training and development opportunities for drivers and patients
- Ensure that all vehicles are properly serviced and maintained.
- Develop and implement transportation policies and procedures to ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company standards.
- Coordinate with Rental car companies for vehicle supply and availability.
- Manage rental contract, renewal, documentation, and compliance
- Optimize routes to reduce delays and operational costs
- Handle Emergency Transport request promptly
- May work extended hours or weekends depending on the needs of the company.
- Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols
- Support general administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
· Minimum 5 years of driving experience in the UAE, particularly Emirate of Abu Dhabi and with a Valid driving license.
· Proven experience in transport coordination, logistics, or a similar role.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and Basic computer skills for maintaining transport records.
· Ability to handle scheduling and route planning efficiently.
· Knowledge of medical transport regulations is an advantage.
· Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.ge.
