Job Summary

The Inventory Officer is responsible for managing the full inventory cycle, ensuring accurate stock control, smooth material flow, and timely coordination with suppliers and logistics partners. The role also included system assembly tasks, manages returns, and oversees transportation of goods between UAE, Oman, and China.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Supplier Coordination

• Prepare purchase orders and follow up with suppliers on pricing, delivery, and timelines.
• Ensure all materials and parts are delivered accurately and on time.

Receiving & Quality Check

• Receive and inspect incoming items, confirming quantity and quality.
• Record any issues such as damages or discrepancies.

Inventory Management

• Maintain up-to-date stock records in the system.
• Monitor stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and reconcile differences.

Parts Preparation & Basic Assembly Support

• Prepare and assemble parts based on instructions.
• Perform testing to ensure readiness for use.

Issuing Materials

• Issue parts only against approved requests and update inventory records accordingly.
• Maintain proper traceability of all issued items.

Storage & Warehouse Organization

• Keep storage areas organized, labeled, and safe.
• Maintain good housekeeping and compliance standards.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare regular reports on stock levels and material movements.
• Document stock adjustments and returns.

Returns Handling

• Manage returned items by inspecting, documenting, and updating stock records.

Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate transportation of parts between suppliers and warehouse.
• Manage shipments from UAE to Oman and from China to the UAE warehouse.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in inventory control or warehouse operations is a must.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Must have a valid UAE driving license.
