Job Purpose

To supervise daily production operations across popcorn, chocolate, and spice processing lines, ensuring production targets are met with the highest quality standards while complying with food safety regulations and minimizing waste.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead production workers during assigned shifts.
  • Execute daily production plans according to approved schedules.
  • Monitor product quality standards (weight, taste, packaging, labeling, expiry dates).
  • Oversee operation of:
  • Popcorn roasting and flavoring machines
  • Chocolate mixing -filling processing and packaging lines
  • Spice roasting, grinding, and blending equipment
  • Monitor temperature and humidity conditions in production and storage areas.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, GMP).
  • Minimize raw material waste (corn kernels, cocoa, sugar, spices, etc.).
  • Coordinate with Quality Control for inspections and sampling.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance in case of breakdowns or technical issues.
  • Train workers on SOPs and hygiene procedures.
  • Prepare daily production reports (output, downtime, waste, quality issues).
  • Ensure proper hygiene and safety practices on the production floor.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of daily/monthly production targets (≥95%).
  • Waste percentage within acceptable limits.
  • Reduced machine downtime.
  • Product quality compliance rate.
  • Successful food safety audits and inspections.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in food manufacturing.
  • Experience in roasting, packaging, or food processing lines.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work in shifts.
