Storekeeper

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and materials
  • Organize and maintain inventory in an orderly and accessible manner
  • Issue materials and products to relevant departments as per requirements
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate reorders to avoid shortages
  • Maintain accurate records of goods received, dispatched, and stored
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies
  • Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and safe storage of items
  • Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse staff, and management for stock control
  • Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (a diploma in logistics/supply chain is an advantage)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in logistics or warehouse operations
  • Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management systems
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word, and ERP systems preferred)
  • Ability to handle physical workload and maintain accuracy under pressure
  • Good communication skills and teamwork spirit
