Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care. You will engage with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, fostering their development through play-based learning and structured activities. Your expertise in behavior management and experience with diverse needs will be invaluable as you support each child’s growth and learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Supervise children during activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Engage children in interactive play and educational activities that stimulate their curiosity and creativity.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive team atmosphere focused on the children’s best interests.
• Manage behavior in a positive manner, using techniques that promote self-regulation among children.
• Provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers or preschools is preferred.
• Skills in babysitting, toddler care, infant care, and working with children with disabilities are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members.
• A nurturing attitude with a genuine love for working with young children.
• Ability to maintain patience and flexibility in a dynamic environment.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus.
