Overview

At Bryant’s Rent-All, we are proud to offer a wide variety of equipment for rental in the Lexington KY and Central Kentucky area.

We can help you tackle lawn and garden projects with a tiller, sod cutter, wheel barrow, shovel, lawn edger, string trimmer, weed mower, hedge trimmer and much more. For home maintenance and renovation we have a ladder, hammer/drill, miter box saw, generator, dolly, sewer eel, carpet cleaner, carpet stretcher and much more. For the contractor we also offer items like a trencher, stump grinder, mini skid steer, brush chipper and much more.

We are looking for an experienced Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in equipment repair and maintenance, including diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues. The Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining equipment, as well as providing customer service and advice to clients. We are looking for someone who is reliable, organized, and has excellent problem-solving skills.

Duties

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems on equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Test and adjust parts to ensure proper functioning.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Repair or replace worn or defective parts.
• Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
• Cleaning of equipment
• Log equipment condition before and after usage
• Demonstrate proper equipment usage to customers
• Assist with loading and unloading of equipment
• Uphold company safety standards and ensure appropriate safety procedures are followed
• Perform other duties as requested

Requirements

• A high school diploma / GED is preferred but not required
• Must be able to lift/move approximately 50-70 lbs.
• Customer Service Aptitude
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the role.

Working Conditions

• May have exposure to chemicals, including but not limited to gasoline, diesel fuel, propane, kerosene, and cleaning solvents.
• Warehouse environment.
• Some work outdoors loading/unloading and cleaning equipment with pressure washer (exposure to water etc).
