The Room Inspector ensures that all
guest
rooms and
public areas
are cleaned to the highest standard. This role directly oversees and supervises the work of housekeeping room attendants.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Always approach all interactions with guests and employees in a friendly and service-oriented manner by maintaining a positive demeanor.
- Promote a positive and caring work environment by addressing and resolving any conflict in a calm and poised manner.
- Should have an eye for detail and the ability to effectively deal with
guests
, other departments and housekeeping staff.
- Obtain list of
vacant
rooms to be cleaned immediately & list of prospective checkouts or discharges in order to prepare work assignments.
