Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Driver/Inshop to join our team. This role involves delivering food orders efficiently while providing excellent customer service within the store environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, POS systems, and food handling, with a focus on quick service and fast-paced restaurant operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a restaurant, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport orders to customers promptly and accurately
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation practices
• Manage POS transactions for sales, upselling, and cash handling
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and in-store interactions
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, including proper sanitation and food handling procedures
• Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules and in-store service demands
• Support sales efforts through upselling techniques and engaging with customers to enhance their experience

Skills

• Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments is highly desirable
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to balance delivery routes and in-store duties
• Basic math skills for cashiering, retail math, and managing transactions
• Experience working in quick service or fast-food restaurants is a plus
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and assist with food prep as needed
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
