About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial records, ensure compliance with tax laws, and support business operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of VAT regulations, experience with corporate registration processes, and hands-on expertise in Zoho Books and Advanced Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and manage day-to-day bookkeeping.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with local laws.
- Handle corporate registrations, renewals, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
- Use Zoho Books / Zoho Finance Suite for financial management and reporting.
- Create financial models, dashboards, and reports using Advanced Excel tools (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Macros, etc.).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- [4+] years of accounting experience, preferably in [industry/sector].
- Strong knowledge of VAT laws and compliance procedures.
- Experience with corporate registration and government filing processes.
- Proficiency in Zoho Books or similar accounting software.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
