Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and sanitizing bathrooms to meet established cleanliness standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms to ensure a positive first impression for guests.
• Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and polishing to preserve the appearance and safety of all flooring surfaces.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff.
• Follow safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment operation to promote a secure working environment.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold property standards.
• Adhere to all health regulations and sanitation procedures consistent with hospitality industry requirements.
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or required by management.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and uphold service excellence across all areas.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or similar environment.
• Prior hotel housekeeping experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning methods.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety procedures related to industrial cleaning practices.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under time constraints while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic understanding of hospitality operations and customer service principles is advantageous.
